Union County Schools - Walter-Bickett Elementary Additions & Renovations

Monroe, NC

This project consisted of adding 15 classrooms and 6 resource rooms to increase the school’s potential capacity to 1,000 students. The classrooms were designed with movable partitions to allow for maximum flexibility for instruction. A gathering space seating 175 students was also added for multi-class instruction. Cafeteria additions /renovations included kitchen expansion, extended serving line and additional dining space.
