This project included the renovation of 22,594 sq. ft. of the existing library facility and a new 22,594 sq. ft. addition. The Main Level of the addition features an expanded Circulation Desk, Circulation Offices, and Assembly Room that seats 100 people. The Second Level houses the new Children's Area with a dedicated Story Time area and Children's Administrative Offices. Renovations were extensive and included removing interior walls creating a large "open area" for reading and stack space. The basement level was converted into Administrative and Technical Services areas. Renovations also addressed building repairs and stabilization. Completed in March 2005 at a cost of $4,207,000.
