This small sloping lot located in a residential neighborhood presented challenges to expanding the existing library. Adding on to the front of the building provided 850 sq. ft. of new space as well as a new look for the building. The addition contained a multi-purpose meeting room with kitchenette and increased the restrooms from one unisex to two seperate rooms. The existing 2,050 sq. ft. building was exstensively renovated. It received a redesigned, reoriented circulation desk, updated computer technology, improved lighting, distinct adult and children's areas and storage space. A new roof and new mechanical system was installed. Completed July 2003 for $164,700.
