This 11,748 sq. ft. library was designed and sited to serve as a major focal point as the town develops and expands. It provides pedestrian, bicycle and vehicle access and a meeting room available for community use. Special features include walled gardens outside both the adult and children areas. A colorful silo in the children's area toddler enclosure recalls the region's farming history. The local history/genealogy room features French doors, fireplace, and garden access. A central clerestory provides natural lighting throughout the building. Completed in December 2001 at a cost of $1,499,000.
